Uniswap Labs introduced Pools.trade on August 5, 2026, marking a strategic move into direct token issuance on Robinhood Chain. The platform expands Uniswap’s presence beyond decentralized trading, allowing users to create, discover, and trade new tokens within a unified interface. Every project deployed through Pools.trade starts with a standardized fixed supply of one billion tokens and transitions into a permanently locked Uniswap v4 liquidity pool upon completion.

The deployment deepens Uniswap’s integration with Robinhood Chain, which launched its public mainnet on July 1 with Uniswap serving as its core public liquidity protocol. Developer logs confirm that the platform’s deployment leverages Uniswap v4’s custom initializer hooks and liquidity bootstrapping infrastructure. To maintain competitive positioning against third-party launchpads, Uniswap imposes no separate platform creation fee. Instead, each pool relies on a standard 0.25% liquidity provider fee, with an optional 0.05% creator fee that can be activated to align developer incentives with continuous trading activity.

Dual Launch Models and Permanent Liquidity Locks

Pools.trade structures token issuance around two distinct deployment mechanisms designed to accommodate different market dynamics. The Crowd Launch format operates over a four-hour window using a time-weighted mechanism to fill orders gradually and mitigate front-running or sniping bots. This model requires a minimum $10,000 fully diluted valuation threshold to graduate into a tradable token, with any shortfalls triggering automatic refunds to participants. Alternatively, the Instant Launch format enables immediate secondary trading via a continuous bonding curve, bypassing minimum graduation valuations and catering to real-time market creation.

Both launch mechanisms automatically funnel generated funds into protocol-held Uniswap v4 pools. Trading fees automatically compound back into the position, preventing creators from rug-pulling or extracting initial liquidity after deployment.

Onchain Metrics and Protocol Market Response

The launchpad enters a highly active ecosystem, with Robinhood Chain recording $519.97 million in daily DEX volume, $597.51 million in stablecoin market capitalization, and $69.75 million in Uniswap total value locked at launch. However, a 32.81% drop in weekly decentralized exchange volume on the network underscores the variable nature of retail market participation.

Market analytics from Santiment indicate that the UNI token experienced an exchange supply drop of 15.7% alongside a multi-week rally exceeding 30% to 47%, signaling accumulation among holders as protocol utility expands. Despite early retail interest in native tokens like FRONG and POOLS, Uniswap emphasizes that assets on Pools.trade carry high volatility risks and that display on the platform does not constitute an endorsement or verification of project fundamentals.
