Anthropic is seeking to go public as soon as mid-November, potentially completing its stock-market debut before the US Thanksgiving holiday on November 26. Bloomberg reported the plans on October 1, citing people familiar with the matter.

The Claude developer could begin formal marketing for the offering as early as the week of November 9, according to the report. That would leave a window to start trading before dealmaking typically slows around Thanksgiving. The timetable follows earlier delays and remains a reported plan rather than a confirmed listing date.

Anthropic announced on June 1 that it had confidentially submitted a draft Form S-1 to the US Securities and Exchange Commission. At that stage, it had not set the offering’s share count or price, and said any IPO would depend on the SEC review, market conditions and other factors.

The company entered the process after raising $65 billion in a Series H round announced in May, at a $965 billion post-money valuation. Anthropic said that financing would support research, computing capacity and product expansion. Those figures describe its private funding round, not the terms or proceeds of a future IPO.

Anthropic’s enterprise push also extends into digital assets. CoinScreamer previously covered Kraken parent Payward’s Glasswing participation, which brings Anthropic’s AI models into defensive cybersecurity work on financial infrastructure. The prospective listing would give public-market investors a direct stake in the company behind those tools.
