Bitcoin reclaimed $84,000 on October 11, extending its weekend recovery after last week’s sell-off. Coinbase’s dollar market moved above the round-number threshold, while Binance and OKX recorded Bitcoin prices above 84,000 USDT.
At 17:37 UTC on October 11, Coinbase’s latest BTC/USD trade stood at $84,072.32, approximately 1.26% above the exchange’s rolling 24-hour opening price. BTC traded at 84,164.49 USDT on Binance, up 1.27% over that venue’s corresponding window.
Ether and Solana also advanced, with ETH back above $2,500 and SOL above $110. The improvement extends a recovery that had initially been led by Bitcoin, while the broader market worked back from Thursday’s decline.
Bitcoin Crosses $84,000 Across Spot Markets
Binance’s 24-hour data showed a Bitcoin high of 84,199.00 USDT and a low of 82,804.65 USDT. The latest quote was near the upper end of that range, after a session opening near 83,110 USDT.
Its hourly candles, checked earlier in the session, recorded a move to 84,040.01 USDT during the hour beginning at 16:00 UTC. Bitcoin subsequently extended that advance in the latest snapshot.
OKX’s spot ticker independently put BTC at 84,157.50 USDT. These markets use Tether’s dollar-linked token as the quote asset. They should be distinguished from Coinbase’s BTC/USD market, which trades directly against US dollars and had a different price.
Latest Crypto Prices Show a Broader Recovery

| Asset | Market | Latest price | 24-hour change |
|---|---|---|---|

| Bitcoin (BTC) | Coinbase BTC/USD | $84,072.32 | +1.26% |

The dollar readings come from Coinbase’s trade feed and corresponding ETH/USD and SOL/USD feeds. Percentage changes are calculated using the exchange’s market statistics for each asset. They measure changes over rolling windows, rather than since a shared midnight close.
Coinbase’s Bitcoin range stood between $82,714.25 and $84,110.87. Its latest trade was approximately 1.6% above that daily low. That shorter recovery should not be confused with the larger advance from Thursday’s trough.
A Rebound From Thursday’s Sub-$81,000 Low
CoinScreamer’s sell-off coverage recorded a Coinbase Bitcoin low of $80,314.70 on October 8. Against that historical reading, the latest dollar price represents a recovery of approximately 4.7%.
That earlier session also pushed Ether below $2,500 and Solana below $110. At the October 8 snapshot, they traded around $2,451 and $108.57 respectively. Sunday’s readings place both above those thresholds, alongside Bitcoin’s move back above $84,000.
Our October 9 rebound report captured Bitcoin near $82,683, while Ether and several other major assets still showed rolling daily losses. The latest snapshot is broader: BTC, ETH and SOL all have positive 24-hour changes on the exchange measures used here.
The October 8 report’s liquidation totals describe that earlier sell-off, rather than Sunday’s trading. The current price data establish a recovery in spot markets; they do not identify its cause or show how much of the move came from short liquidations, new spot buying or other flows.
