Evernorth is set to begin trading on Nasdaq under the ticker XRPN on October 12, bringing an XRP-focused treasury company to the public market with approximately 473 million tokens. The debut follows the completion of its merger with Armada Acquisition Corp. II on Friday.
The company confirmed the closing on October 9 and reported roughly $300 million in gross cash proceeds before transaction expenses. Its backers include Arrington Capital, SBI Group, Ripple, Pantera Capital, Kraken and GSR.
For XRP investors, the development creates a listed corporate vehicle pursuing an active treasury strategy. The reported holdings are close to half a billion XRP, although they include tokens contributed by investors as well as purchases made before the listing.
XRPN Trading Is Scheduled to Begin Today
Nasdaq’s exchange notice independently confirms October 12 as the effective date for Evernorth’s Class A shares and warrants to list on the Nasdaq Global Market. The shares use XRPN, while the warrants trade separately under XRPNW.
The symbols were already used by Armada before the transaction and are being reassigned to Evernorth. Armada shareholders receive one Evernorth Class A share for each share held, while the SPAC’s units separate into their underlying components.
That continuity matters when reading market data: historical XRPN quotes can reflect trading in the acquisition company before the merger. They do not represent a trading history for the completed Evernorth business.
This article was published before the US market opened, so the first trading session had not yet established a debut share price or market reaction. CoinScreamer’s earlier coverage followed the registration filing that advanced the proposed listing in March.
473 Million XRP and a Separate Cash Raise
Evernorth’s October 1 funding update explained the structure behind the transaction. It identified $225 million from related private placements, $30 million in incremental convertible-note financing and approximately $48 million from the SPAC’s trust, all before transaction expenses.
The same announcement said investors had contributed XRP in kind. Consequently, the token balance should not be described as 473 million XRP purchased entirely with cash, or as a fresh purchase completed on the day of the Nasdaq debut.
It also explains why the transaction’s earlier headline of more than $1 billion raised differs from the roughly $300 million cash figure: the financing involved both cash and contributed tokens. Those numbers describe different parts of the transaction.
Armada shareholders approved the combination on September 30. The October 1 update initially anticipated an October 8 trading start; the completed transaction and Nasdaq notice now establish October 12 as the listing date.
The XRP Treasury Was Built Before the Debut
The scale of Evernorth’s holdings was disclosed well before this week. In a November 4, 2025 purchase announcement, the company reported acquiring approximately 84.37 million additional XRP using $214 million from an advance-funded private placement.
That purchase carried an average price of approximately $2.5366 per token. Evernorth said it brought the total XRP purchased and committed to more than 473.28 million. The historical purchase price applies to that particular batch, rather than establishing the cost basis of every token held at closing.
The distinction separates the company’s accumulation history from today’s stock-market milestone. The listing gives investors access to shares in the treasury business; it does not, by itself, establish a new market order for hundreds of millions of XRP.
Evernorth Plans to Put Its XRP to Work
Founder and chief executive Asheesh Birla says the company intends to increase XRP per share over time through institutional and decentralized-finance yield strategies, ecosystem participation and capital-markets activity. Its stated ambitions extend to financing infrastructure and applications within the XRP economy.
One earlier example is its January lending proposal. Evernorth said it intended to use the proposed XRP Ledger Lending Protocol, known as XLS-66, to make holdings available through native single-asset vaults for institutional borrowing.
That plan was presented as dependent on the protocol’s approval and implementation. It should not be interpreted as confirmation that the entire treasury is already deployed into loans or earning a disclosed yield. Lending adds credit and operational considerations alongside exposure to XRP’s price.
The strategy also makes XRP per share a more informative measure of accumulation than the headline token balance alone. As a matter of arithmetic, issuing additional shares can increase the company’s total holdings without necessarily increasing the amount represented by each existing share.
For now, the verified milestone is the completed merger and scheduled Nasdaq trading start. Future purchases, capital deployment and changes in XRP per share will depend on subsequent company disclosures.
