Binance has removed all API keys linked to SignalPlus after the third-party platform reported a potential security issue. The exchange said on November 5 that it took the step as an immediate precaution.

Binance said its own systems were unaffected by the SignalPlus issue and that user funds remained safe. It asked users who had connected through SignalPlus to access their Binance accounts directly and review their positions and open orders.

The exchange recommended waiting for SignalPlus to confirm a full resolution before linking API keys again. It also advised users to enable IP whitelisting, which restricts the addresses allowed to use those keys.

Binance urged other third-party platforms connected to the exchange to review their security controls and watch for unusual activity. It asked those providers to contact Binance immediately if they identified any concerns.

The November 5 notice specifically concerns SignalPlus. In its separate October 29 investigation, Binance had disclosed a compromise of its internal wallet-signing service and said affected systems had been rebuilt or replaced.
