Key Notes

  • Robinhood Chain has passed $100 billion in tracked DEX turnover roughly three and a half months after its July 1 public mainnet launch.
  • CoinScreamer’s calculation from completed UTC daily data totals $103.86 billion through October 13, including $55.99 billion during September.
  • The latest seven completed days generated $6.51 billion, down 20.5% from the preceding week, while turnover remains distinct from deposits and revenue.

Robinhood Chain has surpassed $100 billion in tracked decentralized-exchange trading volume roughly three and a half months after its public mainnet launch, adding a substantial activity milestone to the brokerage company’s expansion into blockchain-based financial services.

CoinScreamer’s calculation from DefiLlama’s daily data puts turnover between July 1 and October 13 at approximately $103.86 billion. The calculation excludes October 14, which was still in progress when the data was retrieved.

The figure measures trading on decentralized exchanges tracked on Robinhood Chain. It is separate from trading across Robinhood’s brokerage business, and does not represent $100 billion in customer deposits, company revenue or assets held on the network.

September supplied more than half the total

September accounted for approximately $55.99 billion of the completed-period turnover, following $15.31 billion in July and $19.37 billion in August. Another $13.19 billion was recorded during October’s first 13 completed UTC days.

That breakdown shows how much of the milestone came from one particularly active month. It also avoids comparing a partial October directly with a full September as though the two periods had the same number of trading days.

Period Tracked DEX volume
July 2026 $15.31 billion
August 2026 $19.37 billion
September 2026 $55.99 billion
October 1–13, 2026 $13.19 billion
Total since July 1 $103.86 billion

Recent activity remained substantial, but the cumulative milestone does not mean turnover is accelerating continuously. The seven completed days through October 13 generated approximately $6.51 billion, down 20.5% from $8.19 billion in the preceding seven-day period.

October 13 itself contributed about $1.17 billion, compared with $1.05 billion on October 12. The 30 completed days from September 14 through October 13 totaled approximately $38.64 billion. These figures use the same dated daily series rather than mixing completed sessions with live dashboard windows.

A dedicated network for Robinhood’s onchain products

Robinhood launched the public mainnet on July 1, positioning it as a permissionless environment for financial applications and tokenized assets. The announcement identified Uniswap and Pleiades among its initial liquidity partners, alongside infrastructure integrations from Alchemy, BitGo and Chainlink.

The company’s network documentation identifies Robinhood Chain as an Ethereum layer-2 built with Arbitrum technology. It uses ETH as its native gas asset and Ethereum blobs for data availability. Robinhood Chain is a separate network from Arbitrum One, even though both use the Arbitrum technology stack.

The launch accompanied a new generation of Stock Tokens in Robinhood Wallet. Those instruments are distinct from the older Classic Stock Tokens offered through the Robinhood Europe app. Robinhood’s disclosure describes the newer products as tokenized debt securities giving economic exposure to underlying securities, rather than direct ownership of those underlying shares.

However, the aggregate DEX-volume series does not isolate stock-token trades from other assets. It cannot establish that tokenized equities generated all, or any specified proportion, of the $100 billion milestone.

CoinScreamer previously examined the network’s early trading activity. More recently, our stock-token coverage reported CEO Vlad Tenev’s ambition to expand the newer offering into thousands of instruments before a broader private-company token rollout. Those plans should be distinguished from products already available.

Access is expanding, while turnover tells one part of the story

Cross-chain connections offer another route into the ecosystem. CoinScreamer’s October 7 NEAR Intents coverage detailed swaps, deposits and withdrawals through near.com, initially supporting ETH, USDG, PONS and CASHCAT. The integration did not announce access to Robinhood’s Stock Tokens through those routes.

Trading volume adds together the value of transactions over a period. The same capital can change hands repeatedly, so cumulative turnover can be much larger than the amount deposited or locked in applications. The aggregate also does not establish how many unique people traded or how much activity came from automated strategies.

The distinction matters for company economics as well. Arbitrum’s launch factsheet describes a contribution equal to 10% of Robinhood Chain’s protocol net revenue under the Arbitrum Expansion Program. That percentage applies to net revenue, rather than the dollar value of trades, and should not be multiplied by the $100 billion volume milestone.

The next measure of progress is whether the network sustains activity across its applications as the product range develops. For now, the completed daily data establishes substantial DEX turnover within months of launch, alongside a recent slowdown in weekly trading. It does not, by itself, establish equivalent growth in deposits, user numbers or Robinhood’s profits.
