Key Notes
- DefiLlama features new Trueo prediction markets that settle using its analytics data.
- Questions cover protocol revenue, exploit risk and comparisons of onchain metrics.
- Trueo operates trading and resolution, with each contract subject to its own rules.
DefiLlama and Trueo have introduced prediction markets tied to DeFi protocol revenue, security incidents and other onchain metrics, giving traders exposure to questions about how the sector will perform rather than only where token prices will move.
Trueo announced the distribution partnership on October 20, followed by DefiLlama’s launch post. DefiLlama said the new contracts settle using its data, with revenue markets covering Hyperliquid, Pump.fun, Aero Protocol, Uniswap, Collector Crypt and Papertrade.
You can now trade protocol revenue and exploit odds.

The arrangement separates the analytics interface from the market operator. DefiLlama features the questions on its dashboards, while Trueo operates the markets, trading and resolution.
Trading Protocol Performance
Revenue contracts turn a measurable business outcome into an event question. Participants can take positions on whether a protocol’s income clears a specified threshold within a defined period, or compare the revenue generated by competing platforms.
The definition of revenue matters. Gross user fees, income retained by a protocol and amounts distributed to tokenholders are different measures. A contract resolved using a named DefiLlama series depends on that series and the market’s rules, rather than a trader’s preferred definition of a project’s earnings.
CoinScreamer’s earlier Hyperliquid coverage examined similar distinctions between ecosystem income, protocol revenue and token buybacks. The new prediction contracts offer exposure to an outcome involving those metrics; holding a position does not itself confer a share of the protocol’s revenue.
Markets on Exploits and Losses
Another group of questions concerns DeFi security. DefiLlama’s announcement identified markets on whether Aave or Morpho experiences an exploit during the month, alongside questions about aggregate hacks and the size of the largest incident over weekly or monthly periods.
The listed Aave and Morpho contracts also refer to bad debt, which is a different event from a hack. Their specific definitions, loss thresholds and resolution sources determine whether an incident qualifies. A market about a possible exploit is not a report that the protocol has been compromised.
DefiLlama presents these contracts as a way to trade exploit risk. They remain positions on defined outcomes rather than a promise to reimburse a holder’s individual losses. A trader’s own exposure and the event required for a contract to pay out need not be the same.
Robinhood Chain and Network Comparisons
The rollout also includes questions about decentralized-exchange volume and the market capitalization of tokenized real-world assets on Robinhood Chain. Another market compares whether Solana or Base finishes the week with more total value locked, the value of assets deposited in tracked DeFi applications.
Those metrics describe different aspects of network activity. Trading volume accumulates over a period, while market capitalization and TVL describe values at a particular time. CoinScreamer’s report on Robinhood Chain’s DEX milestone explained why turnover should not be confused with deposits or company revenue.
In its own announcement, Trueo described DefiLlama as a distribution partner that brings markets to people already following the underlying data. The partnership adds a trading route alongside analytics, with each question’s rules determining the outcome used for settlement.
