Strategy Inc (Nasdaq: MSTR) has officially increased its US dollar reserve by $650 million following a series of capital market transactions, according to a regulatory filing released on August 10. To fund the expansion, the enterprise software and treasury firm capitalized on its at-the-market (ATM) equity program, generating approximately $653.1 million in net proceeds by selling 6.59 million shares during the week ending August 9. Out of these proceeds, $650 million was directly allocated to the cash reserve, while the remaining $3.1 million was added to general cash holdings.

In a parallel transaction, Strategy liquidated roughly 1,900 Bitcoin at an average price of $64,262 per coin, yielding approximately $108.6 million in net proceeds. The company immediately redirected these funds toward repurchasing 1.15 million shares of its Series A Perpetual Stretch Preferred Stock (Nasdaq: STRC). Management noted that the moves effectively increased the company’s USD Duration to 2.7 years while tightening its STRC BTC Credit spread by 10 basis points.

Following the latest transactions, Strategy retains an aggregate treasury of approximately 840,450 Bitcoin acquired for $63.36 billion at an average purchase price of $75,385 per token. The company’s fortified $4.65 billion dollar reserve is designed to cover upcoming debt interest obligations and preferred-stock dividend payments. Looking ahead, Strategy maintains substantial flexibility, reporting $22.04 billion in remaining ATM capacity for common stock and over $25.2 billion in combined preferred-stock issuance authorization.
