Wallets linked to the US government transferred approximately $565.87 million in seized cryptocurrency to Coinbase Prime over several hours, according to Onchain Lens. The blockchain tracker reported the updated total on October 7 after identifying an additional $94.15 million USDT transfer.

The reported movements included about 4,632 BTC valued at $384.5 million, 750.19 wrapped Bitcoin worth $62.34 million, and roughly 119 million USDT. The dollar figures reflect the tracker’s estimates at the time of the transfers, rather than confirmed sale proceeds.

In its earlier breakdown, Onchain Lens attributed 3,974 BTC to assets seized in the Bitfinex hack case. It linked another 657.92 BTC, the wrapped Bitcoin and USDT to seized FTX/Alameda assets. Some funds passed through fresh wallets before reaching Coinbase Prime, the tracker said.

Coinbase Prime provides institutional custody as well as trading services. The US Marshals Service selected the platform in July 2024 to safeguard and trade large-cap digital assets managed in support of federal law enforcement, giving the government an established relationship with the provider.

The transfers alone do not establish that the government sold the assets or placed sell orders. CoinScreamer previously covered a SpaceX transfer to a Coinbase Prime-linked wallet whose purpose remained unconfirmed. The latest tracking posts likewise describe wallet movements, without demonstrating an executed trade.
