Michael Saylor’s Strategy bought 334 bitcoin for $28.7 million between October 1 and October 4, according to its October 5 filing. The purchases cost an average of $85,838.80 per bitcoin, including fees and expenses, extending the company’s corporate Bitcoin accumulation.

The acquisition lifted Strategy’s holdings to 848,000 BTC as of October 4. The company reported a total acquisition cost of $63.97 billion and an average purchase price of $75,440.70 per coin. Saylor confirmed the updated holdings in an announcement on X.

Strategy funded the latest purchase with $15.7 million in net proceeds from sales of MSTR common shares and $13 million from its USD Cash account. The financing combines newly raised equity with existing cash, rather than relying entirely on one source of capital.

The purchase is smaller than the company’s 950-BTC acquisition disclosed on September 21, when it spent $75.7 million and restored its treasury to 846,000 BTC. That earlier update also included a substantial repurchase of STRC preferred shares as Strategy balanced Bitcoin accumulation with capital management.

The continued buying follows Saylor’s 2035 outlook, previously covered by CoinScreamer. He described a Bitcoin “gold rush” driven by institutional lending and new financial products, while saying Strategy’s purchases depend on capital raised rather than a fixed target for its ultimate Bitcoin holdings.
