Bitcoin could be worth about $275,000 if it captures 1% of estimated global capital, according to Look Into Bitcoin research director Matt Crosby. He outlined the scenario in a Bitcoin Magazine interview published on October 22.

Crosby’s September 25 research put Bitcoin at around 0.3% of that estimated pool, below a previous bull-market peak near 0.49%. Reaching 1% would require more than tripling its share. Using that report’s capital estimate and circulating supply, the implied price was approximately $276,000.

His earlier capital framework includes equities, bonds, broad money, real estate and gold. The comparison measures Bitcoin’s market value against a wider pool of assets. It does not mean a matching dollar amount must enter exchanges: market capitalization and actual investment flows do not move dollar for dollar.

The projection depends on Bitcoin gaining a larger allocation relative to competing assets, alongside assumptions about the size of the global capital pool and coin supply. Those inputs can change. The calculation therefore describes a possible valuation rather than establishing a minimum price or a guaranteed timetable.

The argument comes as other analysts point to improving demand. CryptoQuant CEO Ki Young Ju recently flagged fresh capital entering Bitcoin, citing realized capitalization. That on-chain measure values coins at their last transaction price and is separate from Crosby’s global allocation framework.
