Goldman Sachs is making its roughly $100 billion Financial Square Treasury Instruments Fund (FTIXX) available to institutional digital-asset firms through Lynq. The new distribution channel was outlined by Lynq CEO Jerald David in an interview with CoinDesk.
FTIXX becomes the first third-party fund offered on Lynq and the network’s second investment product overall. Transactions will be handled by SEC-registered broker-dealer tZERO Securities. The fund retains its conventional structure, with access limited to eligible US clients that establish a tZERO relationship and complete the required onboarding checks.
Goldman’s fund factsheet lists approximately $105.3 billion in assets as of August 31, 2026, with a portfolio invested entirely in US Treasury securities. David said Lynq clients wanted another income-generating option for cash held between trades. Lynq’s platform guide describes broker-dealer onboarding and account-to-account asset transfers as core elements of its settlement model.
The arrangement expands distribution of an existing money market fund without creating a new tokenized version for Lynq. It offers a different route from BlackRock’s BUIDL integration with Uniswap, previously covered by CoinScreamer. Goldman has also participated in broader digital-market initiatives, including the UK’s tokenization taskforce alongside other major financial institutions.
