Key Notes
- Binance confirms selected withdrawals across ten networks including Bitcoin, Ethereum and Solana.
- The exchange says approximately 95% of affected assets have been replenished rather than recovered from the attacker.
- Additional routes are reopening in phases after security checks.
Binance has partially reopened cryptocurrency withdrawals following its roughly $6.3 billion hack. In a November 1 withdrawal update, the exchange confirmed access across ten networks, with Solana the latest addition to a rollout already covering Bitcoin, Ethereum and several other major chains.
The reopening marks a change from the suspended withdrawals and restart targets described in our previous recovery update. Access remains dependent on the selected asset and network.
Which Withdrawals Have Reopened?
Binance’s update lists the following network-and-asset combinations as re-enabled:
- Solana: SOL, USDT and USDC.
- Bitcoin: BTC.
- Ethereum: ETH, USDT and USDC.
- BNB Smart Chain: BNB, USDT and USDC.
- XRP Ledger: XRP.
- Base: ETH and USDC.
- Dogecoin: DOGE.
- Optimism: ETH, USDT and USDC.
- Arbitrum: ARB, ETH, USDT and USDC.
- Tron: TRX and USDT.
Binance said further networks and assets would return as security checks are completed.
First-Phase Plan Is Broader Than the Confirmed List
The exchange’s Recovery Update #4 set a first-phase opening window of 06:00–09:00 UTC on November 1. Its planned scope also includes Zcash, TON, Polygon, Avalanche C-Chain and Sui. Inclusion in that plan is separate from confirmation that a specific withdrawal route has opened.
Binance directs users to their asset’s withdrawal screen or its network status page to check availability. It warns that traffic may cause delays during the rollout and says deposit services remain open.
Binance Says Asset Replenishment Has Reached 95%
In the recovery notice, Binance said it had covered approximately 95% of the affected amount, up from 90%. The remaining 5% consists of less-liquid tokens being sourced through market and over-the-counter purchases.
The exchange says BTC, ETH, USDT, BNB, SOL, USDC, XRP, USD1, RLUSD and ZEC balances are fully backed. It reiterated that the financial losses would fall on the company rather than users.
Those are Binance’s backing and replacement-funding statements. As explained in our stolen-funds recovery report, replenishing assets is different from recovering the original cryptocurrency or returning frozen tokens through a legal process.
Bitcoin Trades Near $78,000
Bitcoin traded at approximately $77,904 on Coinbase at 14:40 UTC on November 1. This is a time-stamped spot quote and may differ from prices on other exchanges.
The reopening is an operational milestone in the response to the October 29 attack. Our full Binance hack investigation follows the reported attack sequence, asset freezes and company funding commitments.
