BitMine Immersion Technologies has resumed buying back its own shares after roughly a 10-week pause, chairman Tom Lee said in the company’s October 26 update. The Ethereum treasury firm repurchased 2.04 million common shares during the preceding week at an average price of $22.48, implying spending of about $45.9 million.

The previous repurchase round ended on August 17, according to Lee’s October chairman’s message. He said that earlier buying began on July 14 and covered approximately 21 million shares for about $350 million.

BitMine put its cumulative 2026 repurchases at 22.9 million common shares, costing $399.6 million at an average of $17.48 each. The latest purchases add to that annual total rather than representing a newly announced authorization.

Lee said management intends to repurchase stock when it considers the shares relatively undervalued, subject to market conditions and the existing authorization. CoinScreamer previously covered the company’s expanded buyback program; an authorization sets a spending ceiling rather than guaranteeing purchases.

ETH accumulation continued alongside the equity buybacks. BitMine acquired another 10,452 ETH, lifting holdings to 6,051,933 tokens as of October 25, compared with 6,041,481 in its previous update. The company estimates its position represents 4.95% of Ethereum’s supply.
