1inch is winding down its card programme, urging customers to withdraw or spend balances by December 18, 2026.

1inch is discontinuing its crypto payment card programme and has closed new registrations. In an official FAQ, the project urged existing customers to spend or withdraw remaining balances as soon as possible, and no later than December 18, 2026.

That date is not a guarantee that every card feature will remain available until then. The issuer and provider control the timetable, 1inch said, while existing cards and accounts remain accessible for now.

Card balances sit in Monavate-issued e-wallets rather than with 1inch. Crypto Life handles account closures, identity checks and balance questions; users can contact its support through the card-account chat. 1inch says it can escalate unanswered requests.

1inch launched the card in April 2024 with Crypto Life and Mastercard, offering physical and virtual versions. It was designed to convert crypto into fiat for online and in-store purchases, with cash withdrawals at supported ATMs. The partnership aimed to connect decentralized finance users with everyday payments through the Mastercard network.

The FAQ says closure does not erase remaining balances: it cites issuer terms allowing e-wallet redemption for up to six years afterward. Users should check their applicable terms and contact the provider rather than assume card access will continue.
