The Tron network has joined the Agentic AI Foundation (AAIF), an initiative hosted by the Linux Foundation that focuses on building open infrastructure for AI agents. Tron DAO confirmed it will participate as a member and serve on the foundation’s governing board, joining organizations such as Circle and JPMorgan in shaping standards for emerging AI systems.

The foundation aims to develop frameworks that enable AI agents to interact across platforms while maintaining interoperability, governance, and safety standards. Tron DAO said the expected rise of agentic AI will require scalable blockchain systems capable of processing large volumes of small transactions efficiently. The collaboration is intended to support shared standards and infrastructure for these new digital interactions.

Tron founder Justin Sun has identified artificial intelligence as a strategic focus for the network in 2026. The blockchain’s low transaction costs and high throughput are positioned as potential advantages for AI-driven activity, including automated financial interactions and decentralized AI services.
