Node

A node is a computer or device that participates in a blockchain network by maintaining a copy of the ledger and validating data. Nodes communicate with each other to share transactions and blocks, helping keep the network synchronized. Depending on their role, nodes may validate transactions, store full blockchain history, or relay information. Running a node helps improve decentralization, security, and resilience of the network. Nodes operate according to the network’s protocol rules.
