Decentralized Applications (dApps)

Decentralized applications, or dApps, are software programs that run on blockchain networks rather than centralized servers. They use smart contracts to operate transparently and without a single controlling authority. dApps are widely used in DeFi, NFTs, gaming, and social platforms. Because they rely on blockchain infrastructure, dApps offer greater resistance to censorship and downtime. However, they may also face challenges related to usability, scalability, and fees.
